AdaCore to Sponsor Safety-Critical Rust Consortium Evening Social

The Rust Foundation is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to stewarding the Rust programming language, nurturing the Rust ecosystem, and supporting the set of maintainers governing and developing the project.

The Safety-Critical Rust Consortium, backed by the Rust Foundation, aims to foster responsible use of the Rust programming language within safety-critical software. As advocates for secure programming languages, it is no surprise that AdaCore now counts Rust as one of its key language provisions alongside Ada and SPARK. As a key member of the Safety-Critical Rust Consortium AdaCore is delighted to be hosting the networking social event this year ahead of Rust Nation UK.

The event takes place in the evening of Wednesday 19th February and is free to members of the Safety-Critical Rust Consortium.

Tony Aiello is Head of Product & Innovation at AdaCore,

“At AdaCore, we focus on industries where safety, security, and reliability are paramount. This meeting of the Rust Foundation’s Safety-Critical Consortium is an essential event because it allows us to develop, share, and learn best practices for safety-critical and certifiable use of Rust with other stakeholders. Rust Nation UK gives us an additional opportunity to share our commitment to the Rust language with the community and learn more about community-led directions and needs.”
